One last wedding before the New Year! Kristen and Matt held their wedding and reception at Fort Wayne’s Historic Embassy Theatre. Music by DJ Trend, and the beautiful cake was created by Hall’s Takes The Cake. Photos by Andy Pauquette, Kim Hartman and Mark Lahey.

Some weddings are sprints, others are marathons. Lea and Nick’s wedding this past Saturday was a team relay race! The day started at Expectations Salon in Norhtcrest Plaza in the morning, on to a wonderful brunch at the home of the bride’s family, then the wedding mass at St. Vincent’s followed by a reception at the Grand Wayne Center. Blaise Moore of Creative Occasions did the planning and the flowers, furnishings were supplied by A Party Apart and the Grand Wayne, and Chris Worth and Company provided the music. The I Du team for this event included Kim Hartman, Mark Lee, Andy Pauquette and Tim Perroud, plus Josh Evans took care of our photobooth on its first event! It was a full day, so here are a bunch of favorites:

No disrespect to those of you in the ‘burbs, but we are big fans of downtown Fort Wayne, and Allison and Nick picked two of downtown’s finest locations for their wedding and reception. The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and the Historic Embassy Theatre are less than a block apart, with the Downtown Hilton across the street. Catering by Club Soda, music by Doctor Feelsgood’s, Inc.

Mallory and Kent were married at Trinity English Lutheran Church, and they followed their wedding with a beautiful reception at Sycamore Hills Golf Club. Flowers by Lillian Rose, decorations by A Party Apart, music by DJ Trend. Video is coming soon!

Susie at 5 Elements invited us to stop by and check out the barber lounge. You thought the whole pre-wedding salon experience was just for the girls? Not here. A refreshing beverage, a comfortable chair, and a very, very sharp razor. ”Best shave I’ve ever had.”
No groomsmen were harmed during the filming of this episode.
